The Wild at Heart anthology was specifically written and compiled as a fundraiser for the refuge, and the stories, which are suitable for all audiences, leave the reader with a positive feeling of hope for the future of these endangered animals. The stories in the anthology focus primarily on large-animal rescue and/or the dangers of keeping one as a pet.
